^ Must show bike porn in location (that covers the ASL - color, make, model, year Smiley) or at least not your backside in the far distance...must be able to prove you were there Smiley

JD = 47/M/Anaheim

I've left a trail of e-carnage across the MTB internet since 1998, mostly due to my own penchant for being blunt.  I have not been banned as much as the infamous Pete Fagerlin, or a few lesser skilled trolls though.  What has not been considered carnage during this period (except from my most vociferous detractors) would be the trail of ride reports and photos covering the many people and places that I've been fortunate to share MTB experiences with.  In the case of the photo above, Tony is correct on the location, though I doubt its status could ever be considered as banned anywhere on the MTB internet.  It's quite recognizable and one of Utah's top trails in the eyes of many.  The bike in the photo doesn't really matter either because I've ridden at least four different bikes at Thunder Mountain over the years, from rigid singlespeed to 6" travel all-mountain.

Thanks for joining us - was great to see you Jim!

Since Jim has never hit Whiting, and he has new lights.  I'll post a Whiting Luge evening ride after the 24th (I'm out of town until then).  We;ll park at Cook's drop into whiting just before sunset and be climbing Mojeska - STT in the twilight finishing in the dark down the Luge - after ride refreshments at Cooks!  Weekday or weekends better for most?
I'm in! that is if you'll let SSers hang out with geared FR bikes?

Manpris are not functional for riding sub/urban around here because it doesn't get cold enough.

To the OP, is that Swobo NJS?

SGV sells highly questionable bikes as far as fabrication, build and overall quality goes.

Buyer beware of them and the camera shop in Costa Mesa, who is also very shady.

The most legitimate OC source for fixed gear is at City Grounds in Costa Mesa.

In Los Angeles, try Orange 20.
